  PLATT-LEEMAN.-Suddenly, on the evening of October 3, 1893, of 
pneumonia, MARY L., wife of Captain Charles C. Platt, and second 
daughter of Captain Samuel and Mary A. Leeman, aged 36 years.
   The friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend 
the funeral services, on Saturday, October 7, at 3 o’clock, from 
the residence of her parents, 1820 Mervine street, Philadelphia.
Interment at Monument Cemetery. Headstone rests in the Delaware 
River at the Betsy Ross Bridge.
