Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from his late residence in East Coventry, Chester Co on Wednesday the 4th at 10:00am. Interment at East Coventry Union Meeting House. Montgomery Ledger, Obituaries, 2/3/1885: John Reinhart died of dropsy and ailments resulting from advanced years on Friday evening, Jan. 30th, at his residence in E Coventry, Chester County. He was one of the oldest citizens of the neighborhood and occupied the farm on which he died, for a long while. His wife died two or three years ago. Of their children, there are four living: Lewis W., living on the home farm; Mary Ann wife of William Scatchard of Germantown, Eliza Ann, widow of Mahlon Rodgers of near Frick's Locks; and Lydia living at home. Another daughter, now deceased, was married to Rev. John Harley, Pottstown. John Rinehart was also a brother of Nathan Rinehart of Pottstown, also of Joshua Rinehart of E Coventry, and Rebecca Halderman, widow of John Halderman, of North Coventry.
