West Chester, PA Daily Local News 3/5/63
Mrs. Flora Maie Crosby Roberts, widow of Bartholomew S. Roberts and a resident 
of Philadelphia for many years, died early today at the home of her son-in-law 
and daughter, T. Vance and Helen R. Bates, of Locust St., Goshen Heights, East 
Goshen Township, with whom she resided for about two years.  She was 88.
Born in Millville, NJ, she was the daughter of Darwin and Julia  Crosby. Mrs. 
Roberts was a member of Sts. Simon and Jude RC Church, Westtown Township.  
Surviving in addition to her daughter, Helen R., are four other daughter, 
Lillian F., wife of William Ammann, of West Chester; Marion C., widow of Leon 
Hutton Sr., of Margate, NJ; and Florence, wife of George Ditsche Sr., and 
Dorothy, wife of Harry Widmaier, both of Philadelphia; and one son, Robert B., 
of Philadelphia; 10 grand children and 27 great-grandchildren.
