Schlosser, an old resident of Bustleton, Twenty-third ward, Philadelphia, died on Wednesday, in the one hundredth year of her age. She was born in Philadelphia, September 21, 1774, and married Jacob H. Schlosser, a soldier of the Revolutionary war. The deceased leaves four children, the youngest of whom, Mrs. Henry Dewers, is sixty-five years of age. She resided in Bustleton for a number of years, and was highly esteemed by a large circle of acquaintances, who took great pleasure in hearing her graphic descriptions of life and fashions which prevailed nearly one hundred years ago. She preserved her full faculties up to within a few days of her death, with the exception of her eyesight, which she lost several months ago. Altoona Sun, Friday, April 10, 1874, page 4
