   SMITH.-On the 2d inst., DANIEL SMITH, in the 74th year of his age.  His 
relatives and friends; also, the Officers and Members of the Carpenters' 
Company and the Board of Managers of the Monument Cemetery; also, of Eastern 
star Lodge, No. 186, A. Y. M., and the Order in general, are respectfully 
invited to attend his funeral, from his late residence, at the Monument
Cemetery, on Friday, the 6th inst., at 2 o'clock.
