The Philadelphia Record - Sept. 6, 1885
Smith - On Sept. 3, 1885, Gertrude Elizabeth, daughter of William H. and Emma 
Smith, aged 5 years.
     God needed one more angel child
      Amidst His shining band,
     And so He bent, with loving smile,
      And clasped our Gertie's hand.
     Loved by all who knew her.
      Gone, but not forgotten.
Funeral - this Sunday afternoon, at 3 o'clock. for her parents' residence, No. 
2501 Amber street, to proceed to Franklin cemetery.
