All Rights Reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ********************************************************* Will of Nathaniel Loofborrow In the name of God Amen this 2d day of June 1740 I Nathaniel Loofborrow of Wattborough in Woodland in the County of Philadelphia in the province of Pennsylvania I such also being very sick of body but of sound mind and memory thanks be given to God therefore and calling to mind the mortality of my body and that its appointed for all men once to die do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say principally and first of all I recommend my Soul unto the hands of God that gave it and my body to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like and decent manner at the discretion of my Executrix here after named First my will is that all my Funeral expenses and other just debts first be paid Now I give and bequeath unto each of my five children viz; William, Hannah, Rebokah, John and David Loofborrow unto each of them when they do attain their respective ages of twenty one years the sum of five shillings sterling money to be paid to them and to each of them by my Executrix hereafter named out of my Estate Now I give devise and bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife Margareta Loofborrow all my lands (?) (?) and plantations and bounty after my Estate or Estates both real and personal movable and unmovable lying and being either in the province of Pennsylvania New Jersey or in any other place under the Dominion of Great Britain to hold to her my said wife Margareta Loofborrow her heirs and assigns forever she providing for and bringing up my said children until they attain to the ages afore sd which Margarot my said beloved wife do hereby make constitute and ordain my whole and sole Executrix of this my last will and testament and to disavow and revoke all and every other will and Testament heretofore made or found ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament in Witnesses where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this day and year above written Nathaniel Loofborrow Seal Signed Sealed published and declared in the presence of us the Subscribers David Jones, David Jones Junr, David Parry, Philadelphia August 13th 1740. They personally appeared David Jones, and David Jones Junior two of the witnesses to the within written Will and upon their oath did declare they saw and heard Nathaniel Loofbourrow the Testator within named sign seal publish and declare the same Will to be his last Will and Testament and that at the doing Hereof he was of sound mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge. Be it remembered that in the 11t August 1740 the last will and testament of Nathaniel Loofborrow deceased was proved in due form of Law and probate and letters testamentary were granted to his Executrix there in named being first sworn according to Law well and truly to administer the said deceaseds Estate and to leving a true and perfect inventory thereof unto the Registor General's Office at Philadelphia at or before the 11t September next and a just and true account when there unto lawfully required by issue under the Seal of the said office Pet.
