The Twenty third day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty two I Jeremiah Runckel of Norristown in the county of Philadeplphia Yeoman, being of perfect mind and Memory thanks be given to Almight God, therefore ____lling unto mind the Mortality of my body, and knowing that it is _____n_ed for all men once to dye do make and ordain this my last will and testament. That is to say, principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of god that gave it, and for my Body I recommend it to the earth to be buried in a Christian like and decent manner, at the Discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general Ressurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God, And as touching Such Worldly Estate wherewith it hathpleased God to bless me in this life, I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form Imprimis, It is my Will and I do order that in the first place all of my just debts and funeral Charges be paid and satisfied. _____ I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife Mary Catherine her ______according to law Item, I give unto my Daughter Catherine Wife of Fran Hoofe the sum of eight pounds lawfull money to be paid at the expiration of one year after my decease Item, I give unto my Daughter Mary, wife of Abraham Huglet the sum of eight pounds of like lawfull money to be paid immediately after my decease Item, I give unto the children of my Daughter Margaret late wife of henry Zoll the sum of eight pounds of like lawfull money to be equally divided among them and paid each as they shall arrive at the age of twenty one years together with lawfull interest for the same from the expiration of two years after my decease. ______to my well beloved son Samuel Runckel all my personal estate and all and singular my lands messuages (?) And improvements to him, his heirs and assigns forever He paying the aforementioned legacies. And I constitute make and ordain my said son Samuel Runckel and John Eachel (Eakel) of Worcester township in the county aforesaid my only executors in this my last will and testament And I do hereby utterly disallow and revoke and disannul all and other former Testaments Wills, Legacies and executors by me in any way before this Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written Signed, Sealed, Published, Pronounced and Declared by the said Jeremiah Runckel as his last will and Testament in the presense of us the subscribers. Their personally appeared Matthais Rittenhouse and Nicholas Rittenhouse two of the witnesses to the foregoing Will, and on their solemn affirmation according to law did declare that they saw and heard Jeremiah Runckel yc Testator therein named Sign Seal Publish and Declare the same Will as his last will and testament and that at the doing thereof of sound mind and memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge______Conan Signed Benjamin Chew
