LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF JACOB ZOLL Born November 30, 1754 In the name of God Amen I, Jacob Zoll of the county of Fulton and State of Illinois Being weak in Body but of sound mind and memory do make and ordain and Establish this to be my last will and Testament hereby revoking all others. And I do hereby appoint my son Henry Zoll to be the Executor of this my last will and Testament. 1. It is my will that all my just debts be paid. 2. After the payment of my just debts and funeral Expenses. I do hereby devise and bequeath to my oldest Daughter Catharine Dunlap I give two hundred dollars. to my son Jacob Zoll I give one hundred and fifty dollars. To my daughter Susanna Tharp I give one hundred dollaes. To my daughter Mary Blair I give one hundred dollars. To my daughter Margaret Muckelroy I give one hundred dollars and also her four children (to wit) Elizabeth Muckelroy fifty dollars. Maryann Muckelroy fifty dollars. Joseph Muckelroy fifty dollars. To Susanna Gilson I give twenty two dollars. I do hereby devise and bequeath to my son Henry Zoll the farm and improvements thereon on which I now live known as the west half of the south east quarter of section no Twenty six. Both halves in Township No Five north of the base line of Range no One East of the fourth principal meridian. To have and to hold the same to him and his heirs and assigns forever.~ In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 17th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty nine. Know all men by these presents that we Jacob Zoll William Cosly and James Strode of the County Of Fulton and State of Illinois are held and firmly bound unto the People of the State of Illinois in the final sum of Three Thousand and ninety dollars current money of the United States which payment well and truly to be made and perform we are each of us bind ourselves our heirs executors and administrators jointly severally and firmly by these presents witness our hands and seal this Eleventh day of March A.D. 1861 The conviction of the above obligations is such that if the above _____ Henry Zoll executor of the last will and testament of Jacob Zoll deceased to make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits lands _______ are here accurately and the rents and profits issuing out of the same of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of the said Henry Zoll or into the possession of any other persons for him and the same so made do exhibit in the in the Court of probate for the said county of Fulton as required by law and also make and record a fair and just account of his actions and doings as such executor to said court. Hull and Mary Ann his wife formerly Mary Ann McElroy---- Isaac Aiken and Elizabeth his wife formerly Elizabeth McElroy , Joseph McElroy-- -and Margaret McElroy said Mary Ann, Elizabeth , Joseph and Margaret being legatees named in the last will and testament of said Jacob Zoll, and they being also children and heirs at law of Margaret McElroy deceased, formerly Margaret Zoll who was daughter of said Jacob Zoll deceased and who was also a legatee named in said will , do hereby authorize and request ___ to pay to John ___Brown of Shelbyville County, Illinois the several legacies of said Mary Ann Hull, Elizabeth Aiken, Joseph McElroy together with the interest thereon, and also the legacy specified in said will as given to Margaret McElroy deceased, formerly Margaret Zoll daughter of said Testator and the receipt of said---John- -Brown shall be in full discharge of all demands for said legacies.
