Keyes Mar 17, 2005 Source: LDS FHL film# 1405851 To all People to whom these presents shall come William Green of the Borough of Reading in the County of Berks and state of Pennsylvania sendeth Greeting Whereas the said William Green by virtue of sundry good conveyances and assurances in the Law duly had and executed became lawf- ully sized of and in three certain adjoining tracts of land containing in the whole one thousand five hundred & thirty five acres besides the usual allowance of six pecent & situate in Schuylkill (late Brunswick) Township in the County of Berks aforesaid as in and by the respective Deeds Recorded in the Recording office at Reading relation being thereunto had will appear Now Known ye that the said William Green for and in consideration of the sum of five hun- dred pounds in gold and silver money to him in hand paid by Joseph Webb of Schuylkill Township and Aaron Boen Junior of Brunswick Township both of the County & State aforesaid at and before the unsealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof acquit and forever discharge the said Joseph Webb and Aaron Boen Jur their heirs executors and administra- tors by these presents hath granted bargained sold released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell release and confirm unto the said Joseph Webb & Aaron Boen Jr their heirs and assigns All those certain two tracts of land situate contiguous to each other in the township of Schuylkill aforesaid bounded and described in the whole Beginning at a post a corner of John Richards et al land thence by vacant North seventy three degrees East two hundred and five perches & a half to a post, a corner of Jacob Stahls land thence by the same North seventeen degrees West three hundred & Sixty perches to a stone, thence by vacant land South seventy three degrees West forty three perches to a stone north seventeen degrees west forty two perches to a chesnut Oak South seventy three degrees west one hun dred & sixty-two perches and a half to a post a corner of the said John Richards et al land thence by the same South Seventeen degrees East four hundred and two perches to the place of Beginning Containing Four hundred Seventy six acres Seventy four perches & the usual allownace of six pecent & It being part of the above recited tract of land Together with all and singular the buildings im- provements rights members and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions & remainders rents issues and profits thereof To have and to hold the said above discribed tract of Four hundred seventy six acres seventy four perches & the allowance as aforesaid hereditaments & premises hereby granted or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Joseph Webb and Aaron Boen Junior their heirs and assigns. To the only proper use and behoof of the said Joseph Webb and Aaron Boen Junr (as tenants in common & not as joint tenants) their heirs and assigns forever subj- ect to the residue of the purchase money interest and quit rents (if any) now due or to become due for the hereby granted premises to the Commonwealth of Penn sylvania And the said William Green and his heirs the said herby granted premises unto the said Joseph Webb and Aaron Boen their heirs & assigns respectively against him the said William Green and his heirs and against all and every other person and persons whatsoever shall and will Warrant and forever defend by these presents. In Witness whereof the said William Green hath hereunto set his hand & seal Dated the thirteenth day of February Anno Domini One thousnad Eight hundred and Seven Sealed & Delivered in the presence of Wm Green (seal) Matth S Richards ? Before me Mathias Richards Esquire one of the Justices of the peace in and for said County came William Green the grantor aforenamed and acknowledged the afore written deed Poll to be his act and Deed and desired the the same might be recorded as such according to law In Testimony whereof I have here- unto set my hand & seal the day and year aforesaid M Richards (seal) Recorded and Examined August 2nd AD 1843 Jno H.
