Schuylkill Co., PA, DB 5, p. 389: This Indenture made the twenty seventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty Seven Between Salome Hauck of Mifflin Township in the County of Columbia and State of Pennsylvania and Samuel Webb of Bloom Township in the County and State aforesaid Administrators of all and singular the goods and chattles, rights and credits which were of John Hauck late of Bloom Township aforesaid deceased at the time of his Death who died intestate of the one part And Daniel Shiefly of the Township of Marlborough in the county of Montgomery and State aforesaid and George Kline of Upper Hanover Township in the county of Montgomery aforesaid. Whereas Godlieb Stauber and Nathaniel Michler acting Executors &c of Christian Heckwelder [or Keckwelder] deceased by Indenture under their hands and seal bearing date the first day of January one thousand eight hundred and ten for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto the said John Hauck and to his heirs and assigns a certain tract of land situate lying and being in the Township of Penn then in the county of Northampton, now Schuylkill and state of Pennsylvania aforesaid by marks and bounds in the same Indenture particularly described containing three hundred three acre nine perches and allowance of six per cent with the appurtenances: To Have hold the same to him his heirs and assigns forever as in and by the said recited Indenture recorded in office for recording of Deeds &c at Orwigsburg in Deed Book No. 4 page 369 relation being thereunto had more fully and at large appearing. By virtue Force and virtue of which said recited Indenture duly had and executed the said John Hauck became in his lifetime Lawfully seized in his demesne as of fee of and in the premise aforesaid with the appurtenances, and being so thereof seized died Intestate after whose Death to wit at an Orphans Court held at Orwigsburg in and for the county of Schuylkill the twenty fifth day of December one thousand eight hundered and twenty six upon the Petition of Samuel Webb acting Administrator of all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits which were of the said John Hauck at the time of his death Praying the court to grant him an order to make sale of the said messuage and tract of land for the Paymentss of the Debts &c; It was ordered by the said Court that the said Petitioner should on Saturday the third day of March then next expose the premises aforesaid to sale by public vendue or out cry and sell the same for the purpose aforesaid and that he should make report of his proceedings therein to the next Orphans Court to be held for the said county after such sale. In pursuance of which order the said Samuel Webb after due public and timely notice by him given of the time and place of sale did on the day and time therein mentioned expose the premise aforesaid to sale by public vendue or out cry and sold the same to the said Daniel Shiefly and George Kline for Six hundred and forty dollars they being the highest bidder and that the highest and best price bidden for the same which sale on Report thereof made to the Justices of the said Court the twenty seventh day of March Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven was confirmed by the said Court and it was considered and adjudged by the said court the the same should be and remain firm and stable for ever as by the records and proceedings of the said court relation being thereunto had appears. Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Salome Hauck and Samuel Webb for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred and forty dollars to them in hand paid by the said Daniel Shiefly and George Kline at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge. Hath granted bargained sold relaesed and confirmed and by these presents In pursuance of the said order of Court and by ???? and virtue thereof Doth grant, bargain, sell, release and confirm unto the said Daniel Shiefly and George Kline and to their heirs and assigns all the said msssuage and tract of land Beginning at a stome thence by William Shurs claim North sixty two degrees West one hundred and seventy perches to a Post. North one hundred and five perches to a stone north eighty three degrees West one hundred and twelve perches to a chesnut thence by land of My Reichelsdorffer north one hundred and twenty one perches to a stone thence by laand of Michael Stein East three perches and three fouths to a white oak thence by land of David Zeaner south seventy seven degrees east one hundred and fifty four perches to a stone north thirty one degrees east eighteen perches to a Hemlock thence by land of William Evans EAst ninety eight perches to a stone and thence by land of Jacob Mefs [or Mess] south three hundred perches to the place of Beginning containing three hundred and three acres and nine perches and allowance of six per cent for Together with all and singular the buildings and Improvements ways, woods, waters, watercourses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions and remainder rents, issues and profits thereof: And also all the Estate right, Title, Interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of him the said John Hauck at and Immediately before ??? the time of his decease, of, in, to or out of the same To have and to hold the above mentioned and described Messauage and Tract of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned of Intented so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Daniel Shiefly and George Kline their heirs and Assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Daniel Shiefly and George Kline their heirs and Assigns forever. In witness whereof the said Solome Hauck and Samuel Webb have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written her Sealed and Delivered in the presence of us Salome x Hauch (seal) F.
