Sir: Your claim for increase of pension under the act of February 6, 1907 was rejected December 9, 1907 on the ground that the evidence did not show and you had declared your inability to furnish the necessary evidence to prove that you were 75 years of age at the date of executing your declaration. The testimony of Margaret Chillson filed January 2, 1908, is not deemed sufficient to warrant a reopening of your claim as it cannot be accepted to outweigh your various statements made when enlisting in the service and at various times since your discharge in affidavits as to your age showing that you could not have been 75 at date of executing this application.
