Baldwin, Jane and Thomas
Died in West Bradford township, on the 1st of July, 1838, after a long but painful illness, Jane Baldwin, consort of Thomas Baldwin - On the 3d of August, after a lingering illness, Thomas Baldwin.  His remains were interned in Friend's burying ground at (Marshallton) on the 5th. In this borough yesterday, Mr. James Jones, in the 39th year of his age. His friends and acquaintances, and the members of the Schuylkill Lodge are requested to attend his funeral from his residence in Norwegian street, in this borough, tomorrow afternoon, at 3 o'clock. Kinsley, James
At Mount Carbon, on the 17th inst., Mr. James Kinsley, late of the Parish of Killegany, in the county of Wexford, Ireland, in the 65th year of his age. Mr. Kinsley was the Captain in the Rebellion of 1798, and took an active part in behalf of his oppressed countrymen. He was wounded at the Battle of Roscommon, in which engagement he bravely fought for twelve successive hours without moving from his position. In 1819, he left his country for the United States, , where he has ever since been known as an excellent citizen, and an honest man. His remains were accompanied to the tomb on Monday last, by the St. Patrick's Society, in full regalia, numbering nearly two hundred, and an immense concourse of people. Mines, Rev. T. J. Addison
On Saturday, the 25th of January last, about noon, at Rose Hill, the residence of his father, near Rockville, Maryland, the Rev. T. J. Addison Mines, after a protracted illness...His remains were attended by a very large concourse to the Presbyterian Church in Rockville...After which the corpse was conveyed to the family burying ground, where it was deposited alongside the bodies of his wife and two infant sons. Cost of Florida War
The cost of the Florida War, as per Gen. Jesop's report, is only $20,000,000; the whole number of Indians killed and captured, is only 2400; so that each warrior, negro, squaw and papoos, killed or taken, cost us $8,333!!
