Bruce F. Kelly) The Rev. Bruce F. Kelly, a son of St. Francis deSales parish, Philadelphia, reported to St. Jerome's rectory Wednesday to take up his duties as an assistant pastor to the Rev. Anthony L. McCarron. Father Kelly replaced the Rev. Donald J. Farrell, who left Wednesday for St. Elizabeth's Church, Pen Argyl, where Father Kelly had been stationed since his ordination in May of this year. Father Kelly graduated from St. Joseph's Prep School, attended St. Joseph's College for one year, then entered St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, Overbrook, in September 1947, graduating in May 1955. While at St. Elizabeth's parish in Pen Argyl, Father Kelly formed a CYO organization for all age groups. The CYO program provides sports for children and adults of Catholic parishes. Father Kelly will be in charge of the Holy Name Society here, The Altar and Rosary Society at St. Patrick's Chapel, Seek, and the St. Jerome's CYO program. He has a brother, the Rev. Thornton Kelly, a graduate of St. Charles Seminary in 1953, who is assistant pastor at the Church of the Resurrection, Chester.
