(McConnellsburg, Pa.): November 30, 1899 1899 Fell Fifty Feet from Bridge. While William Thomas, aged 26 years, was walking over the Electric Railway Bridge, which spans the Lehigh Valley tracks, at Shenandoah, he stumbled and fell to the trucks below, a distance of fifty feet, breaking his left arm, crushing in his side and otherwise injuring himself. His Injuries are believed to be fatal.
