Bernard E. Bunsa, 71, of 737 Main St., Bethlehem. died Saturday at his home. He
was the husband of the late Agnes A Gregor. Bunsa was born in McAdoo, the son of
the late August and Elizabeth Rahl Bunsa, and was a member of St. Ursula's
Church, Fountain Hill. He was employed by Pantry Pride for 25 years, retiring
six years ago from the Quakertown Store, where he was a meat cutter. Surviving
are one son, James, Bethlehem; two daughters, Mrs. Francis (Eileen) Donchez,
Bethlehem, and Mrs. James (Elizabeth) Weaver, Hellertown. four brothers, Edward
and August Jr., McAdoo, Joseph, Washington, D.C., and Robert, Basking Ridge,
N.J.; and six sisters, Mrs. Ann Butler, Harrisburg, Claire Bunsa and Mrs. Betty
Seibert, McAdoo, Mrs. Marcella Heller, Marlboro, N.J., Mrs. Agnes Yanoshik,
Hometown, and Mrs. Rosemary Stempko, Cambridge, Ohio. Also surviving are six
grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9
a.m. from the Downing Funeral Home, Ninth Avenue and West Broad Street,
Bethlehem, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 o'clock in St. Ursula's Church,
and interment in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Friends may call at the
funeral home today 7 to 9 p.m.
