  Church prayer card per newspaper article, May, 1954
  Michael J. Derr, 64, of Silver Creek, died at his home Monday evening. He was
  ill for three years.
   A native of Middleport, he was a son of the late Adam and Margaret Schreiner
  Derr and lived in Silver Creek for 30 years. He was a member of Holy Family
  Church, New Phila. He was formerly employed at Winton Coal Co. Surviving are
  four children: Joseph and Margaret at home; Michael, Pottsville, and William,
  Lebanon and one sister Mrs. Mary Meiswinkle, Pottsville.
   Funeral will be Saturday from his late home with Mass in Holy Family Church and
  burial in the parish cemetery. John F. Carlin has charge.
