McAdoo Woman Survived by 73
Mrs. Veronica (Bunsa) Lesko died at her home, 607 E. Blaine St., East McAdoo,
yesterday morning at 10 o'clock, following a brief illness. She was born in
Austria, daughter of the late George and Anna (Vano) Bunsa and came to this
country at an early age, settling in Honey Brook. She resided in McAdoo most of
her life and was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, McAdoo; Rosary
Society, Sodality, and the League of the Sacred Heart of that parish. Her
husband, Stephen, died March 3, 1953, and a son, William, died July 18, 1966.
She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. George (Margaret) Dvorscak, East McAdoo;
Mrs. Catherine Ohrin, McAdoo; Mrs. Joseph (Agnes) Rubasky, at home; Mrs. Stephen
(Julie) Guidish, Bethlehem; a brother, August J. Bunsa, McAdoo; 25 grandchildren
and 43 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the late home Monday
morning at 9 o'clock with requiem high mass at St. Mary's Church at 9:30
o'clock, and interment in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 7 p.m.
today until time of the funeral.
