Mr. Malarkey was subject to epileptic spells, and it is thought that while in one of these spells he fell into the dam. His wife died about two years ago, leaving a large family, all of them living away from home excepting one daughter, who kept house for her father. His is supposed to have gone out about 10 o'clock and his body was found by his daughter at 12 o'clock. His daughter was heart broken to find the lifeless body of her father in the water. He has been missing since Sunday last. Whether he was pushed in or fell in is a question that will confront the Coroner. It is supposed he slipped and fell into a mine breech. He was 70 years old and a widower. There will be services in St. Joseph's church at Girardville.
