Ossman, Beaufort BEAUFORT -- Retired Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Walter David Ossman, 59, died April 18 at home. The native of Tremont, Pa., lived in the Beaufort area for 36 years and attended the Air Station Chapel. He was a member of the VFW and Bad Eye Hunting Club. He retired from the Marine Corps after 27 years and was employed with Dimensions Inc. as a site supervisor for NAVAIR. SURVIVORS: his wife, Ruth Ann Moyer Ossman of Beaufort; a son, Brian Ossman of Beaufort; a daughter, Sharon Bibbins of Beaufort; his mother, Dorothy Heller Ossman of Tremont; a brother, Bob Ossman of Durham, N.C.; and three grandchildren. VISITATION: 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Anderson Funeral Home. FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Monday at the Air Station Chapel, burial in Beaufort
