Betty (Bunsa) Seibert, 312 S. Kennedy Dr., McAdoo, died Sunday at Hazleton
General Hospital after a brief illness. Born in McAdoo, she was the daughter of
the late August and Elizabeth (Rahl) Bunsa. Seibert was a graduate of the Mercy
Hospital School of Nursing, Scranton. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of
the Assumption, McAdoo, and the Rosary Society. She was employed at the
Devereaux School for Exceptional Children, Norristown. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip; brothers, Vincent,
Bernard, Edward, Joseph, and Harold; and sisters, Marcella Heller, Rosemary
Stempko, and Claire Bunsa. Surviving are brothers, August Jr., of McAdoo, and
Robert, Basking Ridge, NJ; sisters, Mrs. John (Anna) Butler, Harrisburg; and
Mrs. Stephen (Agnes) Yamoshik, of Hometown; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass
will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church of the Assumption,
McAdoo. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be
no viewing. The Stanley E. Anilosky Funeral Home, McAdoo, is in charge of the
arrangements.
