I Frank Geffert, aged 35; occupation: Miner, do declare on oath that my personal description is: 
Color white, complexion Light, Height 5 feet 10 inches; weight 160 pounds, color of hair Brown,
color of eyes brown, other visible distinctive marks; coal mark on right ear.  
I was born in Hoezew, Austria on the 20th day of December 1877; I now reside at
McAdoo, Pennsylvania.  I emigrated to the United States from Bremen, Germany
on the vessel Grosser Kurfurst; my last foreign residence was Hoezew, Austria.
It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince,
Potentate, state or sovereignty and particularly to Francis Joseph Emperor of
Austria & Apostolio King of Hungry, of whom at this time I am a subject,
   I arrived in the port of New York in the state of New York on or about 
the 18th day of June 1900; I am not an anarchist; I am
not a polygamist nor in the practice of polygamy; and it is my intention 
in good faith to become a citizen of the U.S. and to permanently reside
therein, SO HELP ME GOD.

The petition of FRANK GEFFERT hereby filed, respectfully showeth, 
1st My place of residence is McAdoo, PA
2nd My occupation is Miner
3rd.  I was born on the 20th day of Dec. 1877 at Hoezew, Austria
4th:  I emigrated to the US from Bremen, German on or about the 10th day of
June 1900 and arrived in the US at the Port of New York, N.Y. on the 18th day
of June 1900 on the vessel GROSSER KURFURST
5th  I declared my intention to become a citizen of the US on the 29th Day 
of October 1913 at Pottsville, PA in the Common Pleas Court of Schuylkill
County, Pottsville, PA
6th  I am married.  My wifeÕs name is Mary Geffert.  She was born in Kupno,
Austria and now resides at McAdoo, PA
I have five children and the name date and place of birth, and place of
residence of each of said children is as follows
Paul born 4/17/1906, Michael born 8/25/1907; John born 6/29/1909;
Anna born 7/20/1911; and Frank born 11/1/1914.
All born at McAdoo, PA and live there. 
I have resided continuously in the US for the term of five years at least
immediately preceding the date of this petition to wit, since the 18th day of
June 1900 and in the State of Pennsylvania, continuously next preceding the
date of this petition, since the 15th day of October, 1903; being a residence
within this State of at least one year next preceding the date of this petition.
