Ferrance-Strause 
Rev. C. A. Steigerwalt, pastor of the Lutheran congregation of St. Paul's
Lutheran and Reformed Church, Summer Hill, officiated at the first wedding in
the church since his pastorate there, when on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock,
Miss Irma V Strause became the bride of John G. Ferrence. Witnessed by the
bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. V. Strause. 
The bridegroom is a former resident of Lehighton and has been managing one of
the Strause firms near Summit Station, where the couple will go to housekeeping.
 A reception was held following the ceremony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Strause
and was attended by a large group of friends.
