Will Book F Page 248 Will of William Markle recites he is of the Tp & Co of Schuylkill, farmer & directs: V10 Page 305 1. that his body be interred in the burying ground of the Zion Church Lewistown in sd Tp 1st gives to son Simon Markle 100 A upper part & all the sawed timber blanks & the blanks at Solomon Markles, he to pay $50 per acre for the land $1000 of it to be pd as part of his legacy. Directs that the old Homestead farm be rented out until my son Benjamin Markle becomes 21 yrs old when he shall have right to take it at $60 per acre of which $1000 is to be allowed on his legacy.
