First, It is my will and I do order, that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can after my decease. Item 2, I give and bequeath unto my son, Frederick Schneider the sum of Two hundred dollars in full as his share of all my real estate. Item 3, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Esther, the wife of Henry Mattern, or to her heirs, the sum of two hundred dollars, in full as her share of all my real estate. Item 4, I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Maria, the wife of Benjamin Hebler, or to her heirs, the sum of two hundred dollars in full as her share of all my real estate. Item 5, I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Magdalena, the wife of John Smith, the sum of fifty cents in full of all her legacy of my real estate. Item 6, I give and bequeath unto my son, Benjamin Schneider, my plantation I now occupy in the township and County aforesaid and to his heirs and assigns for ever; he or the paying thereout unto my other children above named, the several sums of money to there respectively bequeathed to be paid in the manner following, to wit, to my Daughter Hester, the wife of Henry Mattern, or to her heirs, fifty dollars one year after my decease, fifty dollars to my Daughter Maria, the wife of Benjamin Hebler, or her heirs, two years after my decease, to my Daughter Hester, fifty dollars three years after my decease, fifty dollars to my daughter Maria four years after my decease, fifty dollars five years after my decease to my Daughter Hester, fifty dollars six years after my decease to my Daughter Maria, fifty dollars seven years after my decease to my Daughter Hester, fifty dollars eight years after my decease to my Daughter Maria, all the above sum are to be to the said Hester, Maria, or to heir Heirs, the said Hester the wife of Henry Mattern, Maria the wife of Benjamin Hebler. Item 7, And as touching all the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, personal or mixed of what kind or nature so ever the same may be, I give and devise the same unto my five children or their heirs herein before named to be divide as follows, to wit, to my Daughters Hester and Maria, all my apparel which I have at or immediately after my decease to be equally divided between them, and likewise to each of them or their heirs, one bed and bedstead. I give and devise unto my son Benjamin one bed and bedstead and the residue and remainder of my household and kitchen furniture to be sold at public venue or outcry and the amount thereof to be divided amongst my five children aforenamed in the manner following. To Frederick Schneider, the one fourth of the amount, To Hester, the wife of Henry Mattern, the one fourth, to Maria, wife of Benjamin Hebler, to Benjamin the one fourth, to Magdalena, the wife of John Smith, six cents. And lastly, I nominate, constitute, and appoint George Hebler Senr to be the executor of this my will, hereby revoking all other wills, legacies, and bequests, by me heretofore made, and declaring this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty eight day of February in the year of Our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty five.
