We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. _______________________________________________________________________ Will Book 2 p. 317: In the name of God, Amen, I, Henry Wetzel, of West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill Co, PA and the State of Pennsylvania,farmer being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my Last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and first I direct that my body be decently intered in the Zion Cemetery in West Brunswick Township according to the rites and ceremonies of the Zion Church and that my funeral be so conducted in a maner corresponding with my estate and situation in life. As to such estate as it hath pleased God to instruct me with I dispose of the same as follows wiz.: Item 1- I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Maria Wetzel all my household furniture that she may choose to have and also two hundred dollars in money to be paid to her by my executors herein named as soon after my Decease as can be consistenly with proper settlement of all my debts. Item 2- I direct all my just debts and funeral expenses to be fully paid and satisfied by my executor herein after named as soon as conveniently may be after my deceas. Item 3 - All the rest residue and remainder of my estate real and personal and Misced whatsoever I order and direct to be converted into money as soon as the same can conveniently be done after my decease and for that purpose I do hereby authorize and empower my said exector here in after named to sell and dispose of all my said real estate by public sale or sales for the best price or prices that can be gotten for the same and by proper deed or deeds conveyenses or assurances in the law to be duly executed acknowlege and perfected to grant convey and assure the same to the purchaser or purchasers ther of and when the whole of my said estate shall be converted into money as aforesaid the I will direct that the same shall be devided into three equal parts or shares and dispose of as follows - first after all my just debts are paid, one third of the purchase money remain in the real estate for my beloved wife Maria Wetzel during her life time Item 4 - one full equal third part or share thereof I give devise and bequeath unto my son Ruebin Wetzel ane full third part or share to my son Nathan Wetzel and one full third part or share to my daughter Anna Wetzel inter married to Henry Diefenderfer Item 5 - and after the death of my beloved wife Maria Wetzel, her dower I bequest unto my sons Rubin Wetzel, Nathan Wetzel and my daughter Anna Wetzel intermarried to Henry Diefender for share and share alike among my sons and daughter Item 6 - And lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my friend Daniel Kerchner to be the executor of this last will and testament, In witness where of I Henry Wetzel the testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this 31st day of December AD 1857. Kerchner Henry Heiser On the 14th day of June 1858 before me Jacob Feger Regi. for the probate of will and granting letters of Administration in and for the county of Schuylkill personally came Danoel B Herchner and Henry Heiser who being duly sworn did dispose and say that they were personally present and saw Henry Wetzel the testator within named sign his name to the foregoing writing nd at the same time heard prounounce publish and declare the same as his last will and testament and that he was of sound mind memory and understanding at the time of so doing to the best of their knowledge and belive, Sworn and subscribed before me Jacob Fegler Daniel B.
