WILLIAM C. STAHL, d. Sept. 22, 1970 

William C. Stahl, 52, of Orwigsburg RD1, died at 3:15 yesterday in Pottsville Hospital, 
where he had been a patient nine days. Mr. Stahl was born in Sharon Hill, but reared in 
Minersville. 

He was a son of Mrs. Ann (Jack) Stahl of Port Carbon, and the late Donald C. Stahl. 
A World War II veteran, he had served with the U.S. Army. Mr. Stahl was employed at 
Circle M. Construction Co., Auburn.
 
Surviving: His mother; his widow, the former Margaret Bashore; children, William C. and 
Daniel F., at home; Timothy D. Stahl, Bolling AFB, Washington D.C.; Romona M. and 
Margaret M., at home; a brother, Donald C., Delaware; a sister, Ann, wife of Roy Scruggs, 
Green Ridge. 

Services will be Saturday afternoon from Geschwindt Funeral Home, Schuykill Haven. 
Rev. William C. Butts will officiate. Interment in the Union Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
