REV. SAMUEL RICE FROST

Aged 50, pastor of the Selinsgrove Lutheran church, died unexpectedly 
this morning at his home in Selinsgrove, Pa.  He was a graduate of 
Susquehanna university, Selinsgrove, where he was a classmate of Rev. 
Luke H. Rhoads, pastor of the First Lutheran church, Altoona, and of 
Mount Airy seminary, Philadelphia, from where he was ordained in 1938.  
Rev. Frost was a former pastor of the Lutheran church in 
Washingtonville.  Surviving are his wife Mrs. Georgine (Fickes) Frost; 
a son and a daughter, Frederick R. and Roberta; his mother, two sisters 
and two brothers, and a brother-in-law, Ralph T. Fickes of Altoona.
