Daniel BAUMAN was born 7 April 17?? and died Jan. 1852. He was the son of Jacob 
and Elizabeth Bauman. He married Catherine (POORBAUGH) BAUMAN, b. Sept. 1793 and 
d. 22 Sept 1859. Ch: Elizabeth, b 15 July 1812; Jacob, b 30 Aug. 1815; Gideon, b 
l June 1817; Henry, b 26 Feb. 1819; John, b 8 Sept. 1820; William, b 6 Sept. 
1822; Jehu, b 12 Sept. 1824; Mathias, b 20 Aug. 1826; Dina, b 9 May 1828; Simon, 
b. 1 Jan 1831; Joel, b 27 Sept. 1835; and Catherine, 7 Mar. 1838
