Will, an extensive real estate owner residing at Rockwood, Pa., township of Milford, was born in this township, June 19, 1833, son of John and Nancy Will. His father, John Will, was the son of Daniel Will and a native of Hamburg, Bucks County, Pa. John Will settled in Milford, where he followed farming for the rest of his life. He died in February, 1878. He was twice married, and his second wife was Mrs. Nancy Culver, daughter of Mathias Scott. Her paternal grandparents emigrated from England, settling in Philadelphia, and her father located upon a farm in Milford. By her previous marriage she had one daughter, Maria, who married David Younkin. John and Nancy Will were the parents of nine children; namely, Allen S., Louisa, Josephine, Albert G., Amanda C., Mary, Daniel W., Helen M., and Jane S. All are living except Allen S. (For a more extended account of the family the reader is referred to a sketch of Daniel W. Will, which appears elsewhere in the Review.) Albert G. Will was educated in the public schools of Milford. He was reared to farm life at the homestead, where he resided until some seven years since; and he has acquired valuable real estate interests, including, besides the homestead property, farms in Milford, Rockwood, and Black townships. As an agriculturist he not only carried on general farming with energy, but was a large dealer in cattle, sheep and horses. In 1891 he established himself as an administrator, executor, and assignee at Rockwood borough, where he has since resided; and aside from the settlement of estates he has general supervision of his farming interests. On February 7, 1858, Mr. Will was united in marriage with Elizabeth A. Wolfersberger, daughter of Philip and Elizabeth (Stoufer) Wolfersberger, of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Mr. and Mrs. Will have five children, namely: Bertha, born in 1860; Grace, born in 1862; Jennie B., born in 1864; Florence, born in 1866; and Philip S. Will, born in 1868. Bertha, who married I. S. Snyder, and resides in Middle Creek township, has three sons - Albert, Herbert, and Philip Snyder. Grace, who married P. S. Young, and resides on her father's farm in Milford, has two children - Albert and Leora. Jennie B., who is the wife of E. E. Dull, and resides in Rockwood borough, has two children - Earl and Florence. Florence Will is a successful school teacher, and has spent some time in California. Philip S. is now a druggist in Garret, Ind. Politically, Mr. Will is a Republican. He has served with ability as School Director and Burgess, but resigned the last-named office and has declined to accept other positions in the public service. He is a member of the Lutheran church, is serving as one of the Council, and takes an active interest in religious work. In 1897 he took a pleasure trip to California, during which he visited San Francisco, Sacramento, Oakland, Los Angeles, Pasadena, San Diego, and other points.
