There at least a hundred marked graves, in this plot no inscriptions on the native stones takes its name from a very large poplar tree which stood on the grave of a child*, having six branches, each of which was a large tree in its self. Among the branches a tombstone was imbedded several feet above the ground. A number of years ago this tree was destroyed by lightning.
