Pa. * Buried in Grandview Cemetery, Southmont borough, Cambria Co. Pa. * Private Co. K 159th Regiment 14th Pa. Cavalry * Enlisted Sept. 6, 1862 at Kittanning, Pa. * Mustered in Nov. 23, 1862 * Not accounted for * Discharged May 31, 1865 at Alexandria, Va. * In May 1864 he was confined in the hospital in Martinsburg for two months, suffering from Chronic Diarrhea. Aug. 1864 he was furloughed for thirty days; this was extended to sixty days after which he returned to Winchester. He was detailed a Corp. at Fairfax C. H. one week.
