* Born Oct. 30, 1844 in Westmoreland Co. Pa.
* Died Apr. 30, 1919 in Vinal Haven, Maine
* James is the son of John David Michael Armbrust
* Corporal Co. A 133rd Regiment Pa. Infantry
* Enlisted July 31, 1862 at age 18 in Johnstown, Cambria Co. Pa.
* Mustered in Aug. 5, 1862 as a musician in Harrisburg, Pa.
* Mustered out May 24, 1863 with company
* Invalid Pension: Applied Nov. 30, 1885, Application # 555218, Certificate # 995848
