* Born Dec. 30, 1846 near Stoystown, Somerset Co. Pa. 
* Died in Latrobe, Pa in 1934 at age 87
* Private Co. C 93rd Regiment 1st Brigade 2nd Division 6th Corps. 
* Enlisted at age 18 in 1864 at Pittsburgh, Pa. with Harrison Penrod 
* Discharged June 30, 1865
