Cavalry at Harrisburg, Pa. * Discharged Oct. 22, 1865 as Captain at Cumberland Md. in 1865 by reason of expiration of term of service * Height - 5'8"; Hair - Light; Complexion - Fair; Eyes - Blue * Occupation - Farmer * Residence at enlistment - Johnstown, Pa. * Promoted to 1st Sergeant Oct. 30, 1862 * Prompted to 2nd Lieutenant June 1, 1863 * Promoted to Captain Dec. 2, 1864 * Taken prisoner at Cedar Creek * Prisoner from Nov. 12, 1864 - Feb. 22, 1865 at Libby and Andersonville * Transferred to Co.
