* Died May 20, 1912 in Hyndman, Pa. 
* Private Co. K 2nd Maryland Potomac Home Brigade Infantry 
* Enlisted or mustered in Sept. 25, 1862 at age 28 at Cumberland, Md for 3 years 
* Deserted Dec. 3, 1862 at Cumberland, Md. 
* On Descriptive list of Deserters for Apr. 17, 1863 as deserting Oct. 3, 1862 
at Cumberland, Md. with remarks of: Supposed to be in 16th Pa. Cavalry 
* Returned from desertion Nov. 4, 1863 
* Forfeited all pay due to desertion  
* Restored to duty by order of Col. J. A. Mulligan 
* Company Muster Roll from Nov. 1864 through Apr. 1865 lists him as absent, sick 
at General Hospital at Clarysville, Md.  
* Discharged or mustered out June 10, 1865 at Cumberland, Md at age 30
