* Enlisted Sept. 9, 1862 at age 18 in the 16th Congressional District 
* Mustered in Sept, 9, 1864 in Chambersburg, Pa 
* Substituted for Samuel Walker 
* Height 5'4"; Hair - Light; Complexion - Fair; Eyes - Brown 
* Discharged on Dec. 13, 1864 because he would not attain the age of 15 years 
until May 14, 1865 
* Discharged near Petersburg, Va. 
* Son of Elias Caton 
* Invalid Pension: Applied July 14, 1906, Application #1350579, no certificate
