* Mustered in Aug. 25, 1862 at Harrisburg, Pa. by Lieutenant Brayton, U. S. A. 
* Mustered out with company at Washington May 29, 1865 
* Served Aug. 25, 1862 - May 29, 1865 - 33 month 4 days 
* Eyes - Brown; Hair - Black; Complexion - Dark; Height - 5' 9" 
* Occupation at enrollment - Farmer 
* He was in the following battles: Fredericksburg; Chancelorsville; Gettysburg; 
Wilderness where he was wounded in the leg; Weldon Rail Road; Popular Grove 
Church; Peebles Farm; Raid to Bellfield; Hatches Run; Boyd Town; Plank Road; 
Five Forks and Lee's surrender.
