* Drafted June 2, 1864 at age 33 
* Mustered in June 2, 1864 at Chambersburg, Pa. 
* Height - 5'11 1/2"; Hair - Dark; Complexion - Dark; Eyes - Grey 
* Occupation - Laborer 
* Killed in action Sept. 19, 1864 
* Widow Pension: Applied Oct. 15, 1864, Application #68637, Certificate #76430; 
Minor Pension: Application #160213, Certificate #131881
* Widow Pension lists the following: Widow - Mary A.; Minor children are as 
follows: Emma, Sarah, Levi and May J.; Certificate dated July 17, 1867 grants 
Mary A. an increase of her pension to $8 per month commencing Sept. 19, 1864 
with an additional $2 per month for each of the following children until they 
reached the age of 16 as follows: Emma on July 1873, Sarah on July 2, 1875, Levi 
on Apr. 18, 1877 and May J. on Mar. 13, 1881, Former payments to be deducted; 
Certificate dated June 2, 1866 grants Mary a Pension of $8 per month commencing 
Sept. 19, 1864
