* Born 1837 in Upper Turkeyfoot Twp. Somerset Co. Pa. 
* Died Oct. 20, 1864, at Frederick, Maryland of wounds received in action 
* Private Co. M 113th Regiment12th Pa. Cavalry 
* Enlisted Mar. 31, 1861 
* Widow Pension: Applied July 27, 1866, Application #130792, Certificate #96153; 
Minor Pension: Application #206997, Certificate #163962
* Widow Pension lists the following: Widow - Doratha; Certificate dated June 20, 
1867 grants Doratha a pension of $8 per month commencing Oct. 14, 1864 with an 
additional $2 per month for minor children until they reached the age of 16 as 
follows: Anna on June 18, 1878 and George on June 10, 1880.
