* Born 1837 
* Killed July 1, 1863 at Gettysburg, Pa. 
* Private Co. B 142nd Regiment Pa. Infantry 
* Enlisted Aug. 17, 1862 at Mt. Pleasant, Pa. 
* Mustered in Aug. 26, 1862 in Harrisburg, Pa. 
* Widow Pension lists the following: Widow - Margaret; Maiden name of 
Margaret is Henninger; Adam and Margaret were married Nov. 19, 1859; 
Margaret was admitted on May 1, 1867 to a pension of $8 per month 
commencing July 1, 1863; Children of Adam and Margaret were Catharine 
born Jan. 15, 1861 and Adaline born June 30, 1863 and died Apr. 16, 
1864; [NOTE: Both children died before pensions for minor children were 
being paid.]
