* Severely wounded in 1864, shot through hips and colon.

gunshot wound of hips and resulting disease of Rectum; Believes he should 
receive full pension for total disability, Asks to be examined at Pension Board 
by expert surgeons; Increase from $12 to $14 May 29, 1899; Applied for more 
because not enough.
