* Killed in action Dec. 31, 1862 near Murfreesboro, Tennessee 
* Private Co. F & H 18th United States Infantry 
* Enlisted Feb. 27, 1862 at age 35 in Chillicothe, Ohio 
* Occupation - Painter 
* Height - 5' 8", Eyes - Grey, Hair - Dark, Complexion - Dark
* Supposed to have been discharged July 20, 1862 for disability at Camp Thomas,  
Ohio
