* From Uniontown, Pa. 
* Residence at enlistment Somerset Co. 
* Sergeant Co. H 85th Regiment Pa. Infantry 
* Enlisted Oct. 31, 1861 at age 25 in Uniontown, Pa. 
* Mustered in Nov. 12, 1861 at Uniontown, Pa. 
* Height - 5'8 1/2"; Hair - Black; Complexion - Fair; Eyes - Blue 
* Occupation - Soldier 
* Re-enlisted Feb. 20, 1864 at Hilton Head, South Carolina 
* Missing May 20, 1864 at Ware Bottom Church, Va., undoubtedly killed as he was 
never heard of.
