* Served Nov. 1, 1862 - Aug. 8, 1863 
* Private Co. C 52nd Regiment Pa. Infantry 
* Enrolled Sept. 26, 1864 at age 42 in Chambersburg, Pa. 
* Mustered in Sept. 29, 1864 in Chambersburg, Pa.

* Widow Pension lists the following: Widow - Harriet; Maiden name of Harriet was 
Fleegle; Daniel and Harriet were married on Nov. 22, 1849; Minor children are as 
follows: Rachel born Apr. 19, 1852, Susannah born July 4, 1854 and Catharine 
born Oct. 25, 1860; Admitted Apr. 19, 1866 to a pension of $8 per month 
commencing Dec. 11, 1864; Certificate dated Mar. 3, 1867 grants Harriet a 
pension of $8 per month commencing Dec. 11, 1864 with an additional $2 for each 
child until they reach the age of 16 as follows: Rachel on Apr. 11, 1868, 
Susannah on July 3, 1870 and Catharine on Nov. 24, 1876; Harriet was last paid 
Apr. 4, 1899 at the rate of $12 per month and dropped from the rolls because of 
her death on May 2, 1899
