* Enrolled Aug. 25, 1861 at age 20 in Westmoreland Co. Pa. 
* Re-enlisted Dec. 28, 1863 in the field in Virginia 
* Promoted to Sergeant Sept. 1, 1864 
* Promoted to 1st Sergeant Nov. 11, 1864 
* Height - 5' 5"; Hair - Light; Complexion - Light - Eyes - Blue 
* Occupation at enrollment - Farmer 
* Residence at enrollment - Westmoreland Co. Pa. 
* in June 1900 he applied for increase in pension, certificate #64353, gunshot 
wound of left shoulder and left side, now, disability - Rheumatism and Heart 
Disease, wants $24 
* Discharged July 11, 1865 
* Brother of Josiah Dom
