* Transferred to Co. K 18th Regiment Pa. Infantry June 28, 1865 
* Treated for diseases incident to his service, in Beverly, N, J. U. S. A. 
General Hospital for a time 
* Invalid Pension: Applied June 29, 1885 and Feb. 19, 1907, Application #543567,

One of five brothers to serve in the Civil War [ Henry Kern Eicher and Joseph 
Kern Eicher in Co. K 212th Regiment 6th Pa. Heavy Artillery; Daniel Kern Eicher
