* Corporal Co. I 3rd Regiment Maryland Potomac Home Brigade Infantry 
* Enlisted Mar. 22, 1864 at age 32 in Frostburg, Md. for 3 years 
service 
* Mustered in Apr. 11, 1864 in Ellicott Mills, Md. 
* Occupation at enlistment - Shoemaker 
* Height - 5' 7" 
* Eyes - Blue, Hair - Light, Complexion - Light 
* Company I Muster Roll dated Jan. & Feb. 1865 and Mar. & Apr. 1865 
lists his rank as Corporal and owing 49 cents for Quarter Master 
property lost 
* Company I Muster Out Roll dated Baltimore, Md. May 29, 1865 lists the 
following: Age 32, Mustered out May 29, 1865, Last paid to Aug. 31, 
1864, Clothing account - Due U. S. $2.33, Bounty paid $100, Bounty due 
$200 and stoppage $1.09 for Quarter Master stores and 11 cents for 
ordnance stores lost.
