* Doctor of Medicine 
* Private Battery K 204th Regiment 5th Pa. Heavy Artillery 
* Enrolled Sept. 4, 1864 at age 18 in Pittsburgh, Pa by Lt. Snyder 
* Mustered in Sept. 8, 1864 in Pittsburgh, Pa by Lt. William for 1 year 
* Mustered out June 30, 1865 with battery at Vienna, Va. 
* Served Aug. 1864 - July 7, 1865 
* Served Sept. 8, 1864 - June 30, 1865 - 8 month 22 days 
* Hair - Light; Complexion - Fair; Eyes - Brown 
* He was in the battles at Salem, Va. and Rectorstown where he was disabled and 
eyes were injured. 
* Disability - Rheumatism
