* Died Apr. 2, 1901 in Brown Run, Wetzel, W. Va. 
* Buried in Sand Hill Cemetery, Springhill Twp. Green Co. Pa. 
* Co. D 159th Regiment 14th Pa. Cavalry 
* Mustered in Mar. 7, 1864 at age 38 
* Mustered out Aug. 24, 1865 at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas 
* Hair - Black; Complexion - Dark; Eyes - Grey 
* Applied for and received pension for ailments, Chronic Diarrhea, Typhoid 
Fever, disease of the Kidneys and Rheumatism 
* After his death his wife applied for and received a pension
